Robert Powers is now the associate director of Global Business and Technology Strategy at 20th Century Fox. He is part of the Fox Innovation Lab team focused on development and commercialization of virtual reality and other next generation entertainment platforms. He used to be the manager of Global Commercial Innovation and Strategy at Sony Pictures Entertainment. He has developed global and national frameworks to drive commercial strategies with the overlapping ecosystems of digital distribution platforms (i.e. iTunes, Amazon) and traditional retailers (i.e. Walmart, BestBuy). Robert is an advanced Mandarin speaker with six years’ experience working with China in academic and corporate environments.
